In this tutorial we will explain how to count overtime in a different shift than usual through the Crosschex Software.
To do this, first two shifts are established, the first will be the user's usual shift, the second shift will be where the employee can work overtime. To do this, in the configuration tab, go to the cycle menu, as shown below:

Here you must generate the shifts, first generate the usual shift, in this example "morning." The schedule is from 07:00 to 15:00 (as shown in the left image below). In addition to this shift, one more shift must be created, which is called an "extra shift". All overtime can be realized in this last shift:

Once you have created both shifts, you must create a cycle that contains both shifts, as follows:

The user is then assigned this cycle and checks are performed by manual recordings both morning and extra shift hours, as shown in the following images:


This achieves the goal of differentiating a user when he has made extra time in a different schedule than usual, being able to clearly differentiate between overtime and normal working hours:
