AKUVOX - Configuring the AK-KIT02-2 kit to work without internet

In order for the indoor monitor and the outdoor board to work without internet connection, the following configuration must be performed:

1) First, we will connect the board with the monitor, supply them with power and network (preferably by wired connection) and perform the initial monitor wizard:

a) We indicate the language.

b) Select the time zone.

c) Select "Auto" as the operating mode.

d) Configure the network parameters of the monitor. You must choose "Static IP" to assign a fixed IP address.

2) Once this is done, access the board's web configuration page by typing its IP address in a browser to indicate the monitor to be called, as well as to set a fixed IP.

Go to the "Intercom" --> "Basic" tab and in the "Group Call Number (Local)" section enter the IP address of the monitor. After that, click "Submit" to save.

After that, navigate to the "Network" --> "Basic" tab. Select "Static IP" and fill in the corresponding network parameters. To save, click "Submit".

NOTE: to find out the IP of the board, simply leave the call button pressed until the unit itself indicates it with a beep.

3) Once this is done, access the monitor's web configuration page by typing its IP address in a browser to indicate the board to be called.

We will go to the tab "Phone" --> "Monitor" to fill in the information of the external board:

a) Device Number: MAC of the board

b) Device Name: name of the board (choose the one you prefer).

c) RTSP Address: IP address of the board.

d) User Name/Password: user and password to access the board (admin/admin by default).

e) Display In Call: check "Enabled" to display the image during the call.

Once these parameters are filled in, click on the "Add" button to add the board.

4) Finally, we proceed to create a contact to associate the board to. In the web configuration page of the monitor we go to the "Contacts" --> "Local Contacts" tab to fill in the contact information:

a) Name: name that we want to assign to it.

b) Number 1: indicate the IP address of the board linked to this contact.

Once these parameters are filled in, click on the "Add" button to add the contact.

After this process, we can disconnect the network cable from the monitor. The button on the board will blink red for a few seconds, after which it will turn blue again, indicating that both units are operational again (no longer needing the Internet).
