[All cameras] What can I do if I forget my camera's password?

If you forget the root password for your camera, the only way to regain access is to restore the camera to its factory default settings.

To restore, press and hold the recessed reset button until the status LED starts to blink rapidly. If the reset button is inside a hole, you may need a paper clip to press it.
