What is the camera's default IP address?

Answer

VIVOTEK camera does not have a default IP address. Instead, the device will get its IP from a DHCP server once it is connected to a network, if available. If there is no DHCP server on the network, the camera won't set any IP address. In this case, if you want to find the camera, you will need to run Shepherd and access it through its Alias IP or hardware IP (169.254.X.X), which is assigned to the device using APIPA.

Once you have accessed the camera using the "Alias IP," you can manually configure a fixed IP address for the device to be accessed inside your network.
