Contera IP Fisheye (AV12CFE-250) integration with Milestone

Issue:

A plugin is required to dewarp the AV12CFE-250.

Environment:

AV12CFE-250 v66101
Milestone XProtect 2023 R2

Resolution:

1. Download the attachment (milestone_plug_in_tool_dewarp.zip) at the end of this article onto the same PC as the Milestone XProtect Smart Client.
2. Unzip the file then run Setup.exe.
   
   
3. Click Next > Next > Next > if a UAC prompt appears, click Yes > Close.
4. Launch Milestone XProtect Smart Client, click the Live tab then Setup.
   
   
   
   
5. Drag "MIPPlugins_Fisheye" to a cell.
   
   
   
   
6. Go to Properties on the lower left.
   
   
   
   
7. Click Select Camera and choose the AV12CFE-250.
   
   
8. Set the orientation.
   
   
9. Set the FOV (160-220).
   
   
   
   
10. Click Setup to go back to the Live view.
11. On the lower right of the cell you have the different options. Use the mouse to PTZ. Use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out.
