Facial access control call to a monitor at Safire

Safire's Facial AC´s (Access Control) can function as video door phones by making calls to monitors. In this example 3 FACs will be configured with one monitor.

Monitor: 172.18.5.178

AC 1: 172.18.214.90

AC 2: 172.18.214.89

AC 3: 172.18.214.56

Configuration AC 1

The first AC is added to the monitor in the same way as a video door phone, you can follow the steps in the following video:

This configuration can also be done by adding the AC to the monitor with the Safire Control Center:

This second device can be configured on the monitor directly as Doorphone by setting its IP on the monitor:

Configuring AC 2 and AC 3 as extensions to a master

The first two devices can be configured as explained above, but from the third one onwards, the Main Door Station will be the master (AC1) and the rest will be extensions

As an example of the master-extension procedure, the 3 devices will be configured as follows

• AC 1- Master

• AC 2 - Extension of AC 1. It is indicated that it is going to be unit 1

When modifying it, it will ask to restart the unit and, when restarting, the IP of the master will be specified

• AC 3 - This and the following extensions will be configured in the same way as the previous one, only modifying the room number:

In this way all the facial AC´s will be able to call the monitor

In case of having a device with a previous firmware version, the configuration will be the same but the section where the IP of the master is specified is in another location
