Currently, certain wireless networks require an authentication system because they are for public use or for guests, so it is not possible to share a personal password for access to the Wi-Fi network.
A very common type of network authentication is captive portal. In this authentication when a device connects to the Wi-Fi network, if you want to access the resources of the network (Internet or any other resource) must be validated in a web portal that will automatically appear on your mobile device. There are different types of captive portal, in this article we will show the configuration of a Voucher type portal and for this the Reyee network must have a Router of this same range.
For such configuration, the following topology is used with factory configuration and added to Ruijie Cloud via APP or the equipment’s own Serial Number:

We access the eWeb interface of the Gateway

Now it will be necessary to create a subnet associated with a VLAN (in our case 120) that will be the guest network.

We configure the necessary network parameters:

In this case we will create the Captive Portal from the Cloud because we have more possibilities than if we create it in the configuration interface of the Router itself.

We configure the necessary parameters and enter the subnet in which the captive portal will be applied, select add page of the portal that we are going to use.

We select the Voucher portal type and configure the necessary parameters such as once authenticated customers are redirected to a specific URL.

Select the portal you want to use. Press OK.

Finally, from the cloud interface we will add a guest SSID associated to the VLAN 120

Finally, we hit OK to apply the latest changes in the SSIDs.
