How to obtain a dump file (troubleshooting report) from a DR series recorder.

From the physical recorder:

  1. Insert a USB formatted with FAT32 into the recorder.
  2. Log in with an admin account.
  3. Click System > General > Troubleshooting Reporting.
  4. Click the + icon, then click Yes.
  5. Wait for it to complete then put a checkmark next to it then click Export.
  6. Save the file to the USB and send it to support@idisamericas.com

From the client software:

  1. Log in with an admin account.
  2. Click System > New Tab > Self - Diagnosis.
  3. Drag and drop the recorder into the main window.
  4. Towards the bottom right under Troubleshooting Reports, click the + icon, then click Yes.
  5. Wait for it to complete then click Export.
  6. Save the file to the computer and then send it to support@idisamericas.com
