Choose the computer and file format you have

  1. Windows and .264
  2. WIndows and .avi or .mp4
  3. Mac and .264
  4. Mac and .avi or .mp4

 

Windows and .264
  1. Open SwannView Link software - if you don't have the software yet, you can download it from HERE.
  1. Click Playback.
  2. Select Local Playback.

  1. Click the + sign - this will let you add a file.


  1. Look for the exported file - double click the file once you've found it.
  1. Watch the clip - if it didn't play, just hit the Play button at the lower left (image shows Pause because file is playing)

 

Windows and .avi or .mp4
  1. Look for the file - locate where did you save the file.
  1. Open with your media player – right-click on the file and choose 'Open with' then choose your desired media player. VLC* most of the time can play either of the files

 

Mac and .264
  1. Download Player Mac by clicking HERE.
  2. Succeeding steps will be added soon.

 

Mac and .avi or .mp4
  1. Open VLC* media player.
  2. On a separate window, open the path where the exported files were saved.
  3. Drag the video file to the VLC* media player window.

*VLC is an open-source, self-contained media player that can play a variety of media without additional downloads or configuration. Please see their website for more information.
