How do I choose between CMS Relay and Direct Link? How do I set it up?

Answer

By default, the CMS uses the Relay connection method. However, you might consider switching to Direct Link if the CMS bandwidth is insufficient or if you experience poor performance.

How to switch between the two connection methods:

1. Go to Settings > System > Preferences

2. In the "System management" interface, select the "Client" setting option. 

3. With your mouse, scroll down until you see the "Substation streaming connection", select either CMS Relay or Direct Link as your preferred connection method.

4. After switching the connection method, re-add the camera to the View Cell to apply the new connection settings.
