Annke Vision-How to Turn on PIR Function for the PIR Camera? (For new S500 serials)

Purpose: The article will introduce how to turn on the pir function for pir camera. Please refer to this article to find detailed instructions.

Notice: The pir function of the pir camera should be used with a DVR that supports Human&Vehicle detection.

Steps:

1. Preparation: Make sure the DVR is connected to the power supply and connected to the monitor. The camera is connected to the power supply and DVR. Please refer to the picture below.

2. Go to 'Configuration'- 'Normal Event'-'Motion Detection' to enable 'Motion Detection',  then choose AI in False alarm reduction. Next enable Human and Vehicle in'Detection Target'.  And then click 'Draw Area to draw the area. Finally, click 'Apply' to save the settings as the picture below.

3.Go to the Arming Schedule to select the available time for the alarm and click 'Apply'.

4. Go to 'Linkage Action' to enable 'Alarm light' under Auto and Light Alarm Linkage section and click 'Apply' to save the settings.

5. Right click on the camera screen and then left click 'PTZ Control' to enter the camera's PTZ control interface to adjust the lighting mode as picture 1.

Or left click the icon 'PTZ Control' in the camera screen as the pictures 2 to enter the camera's PTZ control interface.

6. Left click Menu or Iris+ icon to enter OSD setting interface.

7. Mouse click the direction button to control the menu. Go to 'Functions' and click the menu icon in the upper left corner or iris+ to enter the settings.

8. Adjust the PIR setup parameters, and finally go to 'Save&Exit' and click the iris+ to save and exit the setup.

9. When a person or a vehicle is detected, the red and blue light will be on.
