Steps:

Step 1. Export the XML File

1. Connect your device

  • Plug the DVR/NVR/IP camera into your router with an Ethernet cable.

  • Connect your computer to the same network.(connect to the same router)

2. Download and install SADP Tool

For Windows: https://download.annke.com/software/HK/SADP_ZX.exe

For Mac: https://download.annke.com/document/Computer_Software/SADPTool.pkg.zip

For Mac users: If you cannot install/open SADP Tool, please refer to Apple’s official guide below to find solutions.

3.Run SADP Tool

  • The software will automatically detect your device’s IP address.

4. Select the device

  •  Select your DVR/NVR/IP camera in the list.

  • Click Forgot Password in the bottom-right corner.

Note: The QR code reset method is currently under maintenance and unavailable.

5. Export the password file

  • Click Export and save the XML file to your computer.

  • Do not rename the file.

  • Email the file to support@annke.com.

  • ANNKE Support will reply with a key file for password reset.

Important Notes:

  • Do not turn off your DVR/NVR or close SADP Tool after exporting the file; otherwise, it will become invalid.

  • The key file is valid for 24 hours only. Please use it immediately.

Step 2. Import the Key File

1.In SADP Tool, select Import File.

2.Choose the key file provided by ANNKE Support.

3.Enter your new password in both New Password and Confirm Password.

4.Tick the option Reset Network Cameras’ Passwords.

5.Click Confirm to complete the reset.

Important Notes:

  • Before importing the key file, connect as many activated cameras to the NVR as possible. Only connected cameras will sync their passwords with the NVR. (Otherwise, cameras may stop displaying video due to mismatched passwords.)

  • For iMac users: If you cannot select the XML file, make sure you have enabled Full Disk Access on your Mac:
