Autotracking configuration in Safire Smart cameras

To configure the Autotracking in a Safire Smart camera, the following steps must be taken

• In the Smart Tracking section there are 2 options to select:

PTZ Auto tracking Priority: Prioritizes the autotracking over the PTZ control of the camera manually. This means that, once configured, the camera will only move automatically when it detects the object, but it cannot be controlled manually

Manual PTZ Control Priority: Prioritizes manual control, this is the method that may be the most recommended, since it allows the camera to perform Autotracking and also to move manually

• Next, you have to configure the event on which you want the camera to perform the Autotracking, in this example a line crossing. The first thing to do is to activate the event, as well as to indicate if you want it to be executed by Human/Vehicle and that it performs the tracking

In the Area section, the camera must be positioned correctly and, using the LOCK button, this position will be saved as the one established to perform the analytics, so that the camera will always return to it both when moving manually and after performing the Autotracking. Once the position is saved, the crossing lines will be established:

With these settings, the camera will now be ready to perform intelligent detection and perform Autotracking.

Important indications

As soon as the camera is activated in any of its events, the "Trigger Track" option indicated above is activated:

The rest of the PTZ functions of the camera such as Preset, Tour, Home Position, etc, will stop working, since the camera will only be ready to return to the position that will have been set in the lock and perform the tracking when the event occurs:

In order to use the camera with a tour or other of its PTZ functions it is necessary to disable the "Trigger Tranck" and, therefore, not to use it as a tracking camera
