Environment:

  • Camera must be added using DirectIP.
  1. Log in to the NVR using an admin account.
  2. Click Setup > Event > IDLA > Setup > click the + icon.
  3. Select an event type. In this example we're going to set up a Line Crossing. For the channel, the NVR will populate the AI cameras in the order they were added. In this example we are selecting CAM2. Click OK.
  4. Click Actions.
  5. Click next to Alarm-Out.
  6. Put a checkmark  next to NVR AO 1 then click OK > OK > Apply.
  7. Click Settings.
  8. Line Setup.
  9. Draw a line and configure directionality then click OK > OK > Apply.
  10. Click Device > Setup. The polarity can be modified from NO to NC by toggling the check box here.

  11. Click Device>Schedule, then the Plus (+) sign to add a schedule when you want the NVR N/O relay to be active. Note: If a schedule is not set, the NVR N/O will be triggered throughout the whole day.

    -Mode: Event
