ConteraNVR (Linux) hangs at 99%

Issue:

The unit hangs at 99% on boot up.

Environment:

NVR's that shipped with 2.3.0 or 2.3.1

Resolution:

1. Download the patch file attached at the end of this article and copy it to a USB drive.
2. Disconnect the network cable and reboot the recorder.
3. Plug the USB drive with the patch file into the recorder.
4. Log in to the recorder.
5. Click Show More Options.
6. Click Setup, and then click System Settings under General Configuration.
7. Click the Software Upgrade tab.
8. Click Select File then navigate to the USB drive and select 2.3_NetworkManager_v1.0.osp.
9. Click Install.
10. Do not leave this page until the update is complete.
11. Once the update completes, power off the recorder.
12. Remove the USB drive.
13. Reconnect the network cable.
14. Power on the recorder.
15. Apply any pending software updates.
