Face detection notification in the KIT-PANDA-BLACKBODY (Sunview software)
The effectiveness of camera detection and face capture depends on the configuration of the camera itself. The steps to follow are explained in the following guide:
For these detections to reach the software, it is necessary to take into account the configuration made on the Upload Image Interval option, since this section determines the seconds that the face has to remain in the image for the camera to make the capture. For example, if we set 5 seconds and the person remains in the image for 3 seconds, the camera will not capture or send the event to the software. The minimum value is 1 second:
Anyway, if we leave this parameter configured in 1 second and the person remains in it for 5 seconds, the camera will take 5 captures of the same person; it is advisable to play with this time to avoid having excessive captures or, on the contrary, that the person has to stand up and be several seconds looking at the camera for the capture to take place
As for the software, there is only one option to be considered that is in addition to the above.
This section only affects people who are in the database.
When the camera sends the notification of a user several times in a row because in its configuration we have indicated 1 second (Upload Image Interval), in the software it will only appear once every 5 seconds because we have established it in the section Time to capture and remove heavy objects.
In the case of users who are not in the database, notifications will appear continuously, ignoring the above-mentioned setting.
Summarizing about the reception of the notifications:
- Unregistered users: set the Upload interval time
- Registered users: set Upload interval time + Time to Capture and remove Heavy Objects (the latter in the software)
