How to change Speco IP camera password

This guide will show you how to change the admin password for most Speco Blue IP cameras.

If the Speco Blue IP scanner is not already installed, Follow this link to the  article; How to download and use the Speco Blue IP scanner:   

Step 1:

  • After launching the Speco Blue IP scanner tool, it will automatically scan and display the IP address of any Speco cameras on the network.   
  • Double click on the camera you wish to access and login to the camera.

Step 2: 

  • Click on "config".
    • Note: On some older cameras it will be "menu"

Step 3:

  • Click on "Security" 

Step 4:   

  • Click on user

Step 5:

  • Click on the "modify" option to update and change the password as needed.

Step 6:

  • Change the password as needed.
