How to Pair Your Standalone Camera
Here are the steps you need to follow using Android device:
Open Swann Security app, tap then
Tap
Scan the QR code on your camera.
DID YOU KNOW? If you don't have the QR code, only its MAC address, you can still pair it – manually. Go to this step first before you proceed.
Read the on-screen reminders, then tap
Select you place of purchase.
Choose your Wi-Fi, enter the Wi-Fi password, then tap
- Only 2.4GHz networks are supported.
- Why this helps: The app checks your connection before passing Wi-Fi to the camera.
Enter a name for your camera, then tap
Set the camera to Pairing Mode, then tap
- When in Pairing Mode, the LED blinks blue slowly and/or will say "Ready for pairing"
- Not blinking? Tap the "HERE" link on your phone and follow the setup instructions.
Tap to begin the connection.
Tap when prompted to join the camera's access point.
Wait as the Wi-Fi info is passed, and the camera connects.
