To add the SAFIRE 2nd Gen video door phone to a third party NVR, it has to be configured via RTSP, to do this, follow the procedure below.
1 - NVR X-SECURITY
For the Primary Stream rtsp:///IP_address_IP_gateway:554/Streaming/channels/1
For the Secondary Stream rtsp://IP_address_gateway:554/Streaming/channels/2

(This recorder is X-SECURITY NVR2 series and the menu may be different from higher series).
For recorders X-SECURITY Series 6 or higher the menu will be different, however, the procedure is very similar, just enter rtsp://Dirección_IP_Portero:554/Streaming/channels/1

2 - FOR NIVIAN NVR
To add a SAFIRE door phone to a Nivian NVR, you have to follow different steps.
The first step is to access the NVR and click on REMOTE SETTING.

Then, select the protocol management and in this case, you are going to customize a new protocol.
Protocol name: Write any name, so that you know that it is the protocol for the Safire video door phone.
Stream Type: these are the stream types to be configured
Type: RTSP
Port: 554
Resource Path: /Streaming/channels/1 or 2, being 1 for the primary stream and 2 for the secondary stream.

Then, the video door phone is added.

To do this, you must enter the IP of the device, the 554 port, the protocol you have customized and the user and password of the video door phone.

However, once the subnet mask has been added, it will be wrong and you will have to edit and correct it.

At the end, if you can see the symbol as it appears in the image, everything is correct.

3 - FOR NVR UNIVIEW
Go to camera configuration and click on ADD to add the device.

Select the CUSTOM protocol and click on PROTOCOL.

Then, enter the URL of our VDP SAFIRE
rtsp://IP:554/Streaming/channels/1 for main stream
rtsp://IP:554/Streaming/channels/2 for secondary stream
