what is the I-frame Interval setting for?

When using H.264+ or H.265+, the I-frame setting is fixed by default (it is automatically set/managed) and cannot be chosen or changed.)

Other types of compression formats such as H.264/H.265, without the +, work to reduce bandwidth by sending only once an initial frame (I-frame of the full image), and then partial frames (P-frames) containing only the changes in the scene since the initial 'I' frame.

Thus, sending I-frames more frequently improves video quality, but uses more bandwidth.

El intervalo de fotogramas I en estas cámaras Safire se puede ajustar entre 1 y 400.

Cuanto menor sea el número, menor será el intervalo entre fotogramas I iniciales y mejor será el vídeo resultante.

H.265+ seems to work well and is very efficient, saving 70-80% bandwidth/storage over H.264/H.265.
