Safire Smart - Abnormal Alarms - Event Type

Access the abnormal alarm setting section.

Through the start menu, go to Configuration

When necessary, enter the username and password.

Then, via AI/Event, select Motion Alarm.

On the left under General Event, click on Exception Alarm.

Abnormal Alarm Options

• IP address conflict
• Disk I/O error - I/O = Input/Output (in this case alarm in and out of recorder)
• Disk full
• No disk
• Disk failure
• Illegal access
• Network disconnection
• HDD removed
• Alarm Server disconnected

Note: 

The "Disk Failure" alarm is only compatible with purple Western Digital hard disks.
