In cameras intended for smoke/fire detection or temperature measurements, two different configurations are to be distinguished.
SMOKE AND FIRE DETECTION IN OPTICAL PART
For fire detection through the camera optics, the event must be configured in the intelligent section. If this event is configured, both smoke and fire will be detected and this detection is based on the color and shape of the fire.
- Select smart event
- Mark the fire detection event

Once the smart event is selected, it must be configured.
- Enable event
- Create detection area (up to 8 areas)

SMOKE AND FIRE DETECTION IN THERMAL PART
This fire detection is based on temperature through the thermal part of the camera.
Allows to differentiate between smoke or fire detection, must be configured in event.
1.Event
2. Fire detection
3. Enable event
4. Choose fire or smoke detection
5. Create area (Limit 8 areas)

TEMPERATURE DETECTION
Finally, it is possible to configure the temperature measurement event, perhaps the strong point of these cameras. For the temperature measurement it must be configured from the event section.
- Event
- Selecting temperature measurement
- Enable event

4. Create one or more detection rules and configure parameters (no limit to the number of rules). This detection can be by:
> AREA

> POINT

> LINE

In all these types you can modify the alarm conditions: Highest, lowest, average and difference temperature.
