This error appears when you chose Manual Pair for your camera and typed an invalid character as the Camera ID.

A character will be invalid if it is:

  • G-Z.

The Camera ID is 12-digits in length and is composed of:

  • Numbers 0-9.
  • Letters A-F.

To resolve this, double-check the Device ID on the camera and type it carefully in the app. See Where to get the Device ID or MAC Address of SWIFI cameras and Sensors (sticker) for Pairing
