Type 1-How to Set Up 24/7 Recording and Motion Detection Recording?

The NVR needs an internal hard disk drive for recording. Without the hard drive, the system can show live viewing, but can’t record, playback either.

Please connect the NVR to the monitor and setup it on your monitor.

1. Go to the Advanced-->HDD info on your monitor to check if hard is working.

1.  24/7 Recording setting

1. Go to Main Menu-->Record Conf-->Storage, select Channel, tick Schedule, set up Period and Regular.

Note: You can also set up the Period according to your needs. This means the system will record continuously during this period.

2.  Motion Detect setting

1) Go to Alarm-->Intelligent Alert

2) Tick “Enable”, select “human detection”, “Advanced-Set” and “Sensitivity” according to your needs and click “OK” to save.

Note: The human detect option depends on your camera model.

If your camera supports human detect or human face detect function, the options will be shown here.

3) Click ‘Rule-Set to’ set region. You could click step 1. and 2, depending on your needs. You can change the region by clicking the shape(See step 3), dragging the mouse, and drawing the area. Finally, click ‘OK’ to save and quit and after you set it up, it will record if the system detects the motion signal.
