Type all - Is a monitor or TV necessary to view on phone or computer?

The phone and computer are using the system's unique SN/ID to connect the system.

Some of our system's SN is printed at bottom of DVR. While some are not but the phone and computer can detect them.

Therefore, the phone and computer can connect the system even if there is no monitor or TV.

But we still suggest you connect the DVR to a monitor so that you can easily set up everything on the monitor instead of on the computer. The phone app doesn't have many setting options for the system.

Besides, it will be a little difficult to set up a phone and computer view if there is no monitor.
