DESCRIPTION:
It is possible to connect Ezviz cameras for viewing on Amazon Alexa devices with display and request the display on the device using voice commands on the Alexa assistant.
SETUP:
Amazon Alexa allows you to link Ezviz devices to your Alexa account through a Skill called Ezviz.
This way, Alexa can be asked to display the image from a compatible Ezviz camera, for example, on a Fire Stick TV that is connected to a display via HDMI.
The setup is done as follows:
- Enable the Ezviz Skill in the Amazon Alexa app on a mobile device.
- The Skill will ask for the Ezviz account username and password to connect to it.
- The Skill will search for the cameras linked to the Ezviz account, to add them as Amazon Alexa devices.
- Once added, in the Amazon Alexa app you can assign a name to the camera, for example "Office".
- Ask the voice assistant: "Alexa show me the Office camera on Fire Stick"
