In the VORTEX End-User Portal, an organization owner is designated at the time of organization creation, and only one owner is allowed per organization.
However, certain situations may require the transfer of ownership to another user. Common scenarios include:
- The current owner needs to join another VORTEX organization (as one account can belong to only one organization).
- The current owner is leaving the company or no longer responsible for the organization.
In such cases, it's essential to transfer ownership to another user before the original owner exits the organization.
This guide will walk you through the steps to safely and efficiently transfer VORTEX organization ownership.
Step 1: Add the New Owner to the Organization
- Ensure the new owner’s email is already added to the organization.
- Navigate to: "User" → "Invite" → "Set as Admin"
Step 2: Transfer Organization Ownership
- Navigate to: "System" → "Organization Details" → "Transfer"
- Select the new owner and complete the ownership transfer.

Step 3: Remove Your Account from the Organization
- After the transfer is complete, you can remove your own account.
- Navigate to: "User" → Select Your Account → "Remove User"
