Step 1. Set up the VCA configuration via the Vivotek Camera Webpage

1-1. After adding the NVR to the VORTEX Portal, go to the "Devices" page on the left panel and select the Vivotek camera whose webpage you want to access.

1-2. Click "Camera settings webpage" and then click "Open", as shown in the picture below.

1-3. After accessing the Camera settings webpage, check "I agree" and click "Next".

1-4. As shown in the image, click "Configuration > Applications > Smart VCA" to access the settings page.

1-5. Click the "Add" button to create a new rule.

1-6. Enter a "Rule Name" and select a "Rule Type".

For the "Intrusion Detection" rule type, draw the "detection area", then select the "target objects", "trigger conditions", and "trigger schedule". Finally, click "Save" to apply the settings.
