What permissions does AlfredCamera need? How do I turn them on?

To ensure it runs smoothly, there are a few permissions to grant AlfredCamera. Below are the permissions Alfred needs and why:

   1. Record audio: You can hear as well as speak to the Camera device from your Viewer device.
   2. Record videos: AlfredCamera is a home security app that records and delivers videos.
   3. Download videos/video files: AlfredCamera requests Media and Photo permission to save videos
   4. Display over other apps: To ensure AlfredCamera runs without interruption and your camera goes offline.

• Grant microphone permission 
• Grant camera permission 
• Grant Media and Photo permission 
• Grant permission to display over other apps (Android 10+ only)

Grant microphone permission
 

📱 Android devices

1. Go to Settings on your Camera device
2. Tap "Apps"
   
    
3. Tap "AlfredCamera"
   
    
4. Tap "Permissions"
   
    
5. Tap "Microphone"
   
    
6. Choose "Allow only while using the app"
   
    
7. For Android 11+ devices, disable "Remove permissions and free up space" under the Unused apps
   

📱 iOS devices

1. Go to Settings on your Camera device
2. Swipe down to find the Alfred Camera app
   
    
3. Switch on the Microphone toggle

6. Choose "Allow access to media only"

1. Go to Settings on your Camera device
2. Swipe down to find the Alfred Camera app
   
    
3. Tap "Photos"
   
4. Choose "All Photos"
   
    

Grant permission to display over other apps (Android 10+ only)

1. Open "Settings" on your Camera phone
2. Tap "Apps"
   
    
3. Tap "AlfredCamera"
   
4. Tap "Display over other apps"
   
    
5. Switch on the "Allow display over other apps" toggle
