Why There Isn't a Built-in Hard Disk Drive (HDD) in My DVR/NVR?

To meet diversified requirements from users, we sell recorders of different storage designs (with or without a built-in HDD).

Recorders with a built-in HDD are for the users who want to playback or record videos. For these users, recorders with an HDD is a must, even though the price with an HDD is $70 (1 TB HDD) higher than recorders without one.

However, recorders without a built-in HDD are for users：

1. Who already had an HDD and want to cut the unnecessary expenditure.
2. Who doesn’t need the functions of video recording or playback?

Note: Please refer to the product specification, to know if your DVR/NVR has a built-in HDD.

When you’ve bought a recorder without an HDD and you do need one, you can:

1. Contact the seller to buy another separate HDD.

2. Buy an HDD by yourself.

3. Contact the seller to ask for a replacement or refund.
