Check if the firmware used in the MegaRaid Storage Manager is the latest. To check the firmware version, please follow the next steps:
Step 1. Open the application by clicking on the “Raid Config” in the Control Center of the Windows based NVR[NR9581/NR9681/NR9682/NR9782/NR9581-V2/NR9681-V2/NR9682-V2/NR9782-V2].

Step 2. Select your host (should be listed as below), then click the login button.
Step 3. In the login window, use the username ‘vivotek’ and leave the password field blank for the NR-V1 series NVR.
If you are using the NR-V2 series NVR, please enter the username and password as ‘vivotek/vivotek’
Note: if you set a password for the Windows OS, you will need to use it in order to access.
Step 4. After confirming that the RAID card is AVAGO 3108, click on the “Logical” tab and select the corresponding volume.

Step 5. You can check the Firmware version in the “Properties” section.

In the folder, you will find the following files:

Step 7. Download the firmware version 4.680.00.8290 and extract it to a convenient folder.
Step 8. In the MegaRaid Storage Manager, select the “Logical” tab.
Step 9. Right-click on the Supermicro MegaRAID controller to be updated and click Update Controller Firmware.

Step 10. Click Browse to search for new firmware.
Step 11. Select the new MegaRAID controller firmware.
Step 12. Click OK to continue.
