After upgrading the firmware, the Safe100.net and 2bThere.net Express Link settings are no longer visible in the camera's network interface. Is this a known issue or has the configuration method changed?
Answer
With the release of camera firmware version x.2202.x.x and above, customers will no longer be able to register new devices for the Safe100.net DDNS service or the 2bThere.net Express Link service. Devices registered prior to the firmware upgrade will continue to function until the respective service retirement dates. However, devices updated to this new firmware without prior registration will not have access to these services.
Please note that the 2bThere.net service was discontinued on December 31, 2023, and the Safe100.net service will be closed by December 31, 2029. After these dates, all associated domain names will be disabled, and any features or functions relying on them will no longer be accessible.
We recommend that customers transition to alternative solutions as soon as possible to avoid service disruption.
