Enabling Push notification on Thermal Sensing recorders using the HomeSafe View app

Set Detection to PIR and Motion and enable Push
  1. Identify which channel your Thermal sensing camera is connected to.
  2. From the unit's interface, access the Menu then go to Alarm then Motion.
  3. Select the channel where the PIR camera is connected.
  4. Change the Detection dropdown to PIR and Motion
     NOTE: If this option is not available, go to System > Info and see if your Software Version shows 2017 or older (e.g. V7.1.0-20160721). If it is, click here.
  5. You then need to tick the checkbox beside Push.
  6. Hit on Save to save the settings.
  7. Repeat all of these to other channels that have PIR cameras connected.

 

Enable Notification settings (iOS)
  1. Go to your phone's settings first then look for HomeSafe View.
  2. Tap on Notifications.
  3. Enable Allow Notifications.

 

Enable Push on the app (Android and iPhone)
  1. Open the HomeSafe View app. Ensure that you can access the cameras normally first.
    NOTE: If you haven't set it up yet, check this article first: How to access the DVR or NVR using HomeSafe View app?
  2. Tap the 3-bar icon (top left) and choose Alarms.
  3. Tap the gear icon (top right).


 
  1. Toggle the switch on; it should show Push.

 

Enable Push on the app (iPad)
  1. Open the HomeSafe View app. Ensure that you can access the cameras normally first.
    NOTE: If you haven't set it up yet, check this article first: How to access the DVR or NVR using HomeSafe View app?
  2. Tap the 3-bar icon (top left) and choose Devices.
  3. Tap the Alarm icon (top right).
  4. Toggle the switch on; it should show Push.
