Enable "Record Audio"

  1. Access Menu then go to Recording then Encode.
  2. Change the Camera No. to where your microphone is connected (e.g. channel 1).
  3. Set Encoding Parameters to Main Stream.
  4. Click on the box beside Record Audio, it will fill white.
  5. Click on Apply to save the settings.
  6. Set Encoding Parameters to Substream.
  7. Click on the box beside Record Audio, it will fill white.
  8. Click on Apply to save the settings.
  • Repeat the steps for other channels that you want to enable audio on.
  • Certain recorders assign audio inputs to fixed channels. Make sure that the camera you wish to associate with the audio input is connected to the right channel.
