Need to confirm if your MaxRanger4K™ security camera is charging?

There are two ways to do it:

  1. Turn on your MaxRanger4K™ camera - If the camera is off, the LED will not display.
    Why this helps? The charging indicator only activates when the device is powered on.
  2. Look for a solid blue LED - A blue LED light means the camera is charging successfully.

If you don't see the blue LED, proceed here

  1. Turn on your MaxRanger4K™ camera - If the camera is off, the camera can't stream on the Swann Security app.
    Why this helps? The charging icon only appear when the camera is streaming.
  2. Open Swann Security app - Select the camera to start streaming.
  3. Look for the charging icon - A battery with lightning icon means the camera is charging successfully.

Troubleshooting No Blue Light or Charging Icon

If the LED does not turn blue, try these steps:

  1. Confirm the camera is powered on - No LED shows if the camera is off.
  2. Check your connections
    • Ensure the charging cable is securely connected on both ends.
    • Try another USB port if you have a MaxRanger4K™ Power Hub
  3. Test with another cable - A damaged or incompatible cable may prevent charging.
