[PoE Switch] Can I connect two single-mode SFP transceiver using mutli-mode fiber cables?

It is possible to interconnect two single-mode SFP devices using MMF (multi-mode fiber) but is NOT recommendable due to the SMF signal could overdrive the multi-mode fiber causing delay in transmissions. This is due multi-mode fiber internal core is wider than a single-mode fiber cable, having a bigger radius could cause the signal to "bounce" therefore producing the delay.
