- Working local or remote access to the DVR or NVR.
- Installed the latest version of SwannView Link available.

Preventing playback to stop working
Changing bitrate via software
Make sure to set substream’s settings to its lowest possible setting. To do this, using a computer that has remote access, go to Live View
on SwannView Link software. If there is no computer available, you can proceed to:
- At the right, under Device List, click the settings
icon.

Select Encode.

Change the Stream Type to Fluent and set the Maximum Bitrate (kbps) to its
lowest.
- Click on OK to save the settings.
- Make sure to do the same thing to other channels or just click Copy To and save the settings to all channels.
Changing bitrate via Menu
Make sure to set substream’s settings to its lowest possible setting. To do this, using a mouse and monitor connected to the DVR or NVR, right-click on your mouse and access the Menu.
1. Go to RECORD > Encode.
2. Change the Encoding Parameters to Substream.
3. Set the Max. BitRate(Kbps) to its lowest setting.
4. Click on Apply to save the settings.
5. Make sure to do the same thing to other channels or just click Copy To and save the settings to all channels.

Always play in Fluent
The app always play substream when doing playback using SwannView Link app; therefore, make sure to follow the suggested steps above.
