The device offline delay time helps prevent unnecessary system events caused by temporary or
intermittent network issues. It ensures that a device is only marked as offline if the offline status remains
unchanged for the selected delay duration. If the device comes back online within the delay period, no
event is triggered. The device offline delay time applies only to VORTEX direct-to-cloud cameras and
NVRs that support VORTEX Connect, and does not apply to NVR channels.
If you are the owner or admin of your organization, you can adjust the delay time duration.
Navigate to System > Global Device Settings > Event Delay.
The available delay time options are 3, 5, 10, or 15 minutes, with the default setting being 15 minutes.
