The article will introduce how to access the DVR/NVR by its IP address on a browser.

 

-Preparation:

Make sure the DVR/NVR is connected to the internet first:

If you use a DVR, please follow the link to check if it is connected to the internet:

If you use an NVR, please follow this link to confirm:

Steps:

1. Find the DVR/NVR ip address and confirm if the DVR/NVR and your computer are on the same network segment:
a.Please right-click the mouse on the monitor, then go to the "Main Menu"-->"Network":

This ip address is your DVR ip and it starts with 192.168.2.*

b. If you use NVR, please right-click the mouse on the monitor, then go to the main menu "Main Menu"-->"Network":

This ip address is your NVR ip and it starts with 192.168.1.*

-Please make sure the DVR/NVR ip( such as:192.168.3.58) is the same network segment with your computer's(192.168.3.13):

Please follow the steps to find and check the computer ip address
Go to Settings > Network & Internet >Scroll to "IPv4 address".



2.Please input your DVR/NVR ip on Google browser to view. During this process, you need to install the plug-in and enable the browser settings. Please follow the tips on the browser to finish it. 

3.Then please input the admin username and password to login:

4.Then you can access to the live view:


Note:
1.The Google Chrome will prompt you to download and install the tool and modify the settings.
Please follow the tips to work.
1.It can only work on windows computer.
2.If the Google browser can't work, we suggest you use Firefox browser.
