05. Safire Smart download and install the Safire Smart app.

Download and install the Safire Smart app. from the Play store or App store.

Good to know that within the Safire Smart app it is possible to add your Safire Connect account as well, so that you have all Safire devices in one app. The regular Safire and the new Safire Smart line.

Go to Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

If you already know the first instructions, select Skip 

Step 1. At the end of the introduction, select Local if you are going to add a Recorder via local IP address. This can be useful for installers that don't need to monitor the alarms and notifications via the P2P network.

Add a local Recorder.

Click on Local in the app.

Select the options that are needed and swipe to the left on the screen

To enter the configuration via WiFi the recorder needs to be connected on the same network as the WiFi AP.

Open WiFi Config and scan the QR code.

Or use the Start option to add a Safire Smart device.

When clicking to the Serial number, the options Serial Number and IP/domain name will appear blow 

Select the Serial number when the recorder is already active on the platform. See lesson: 05. Safire Smart Enable P2P for the Safire Smart app.

Or. when the IP address is already known, select the option IP/domain name

Using the IP address to add the recorder.

Enter the local IP address or when there is a domain name with port forwarding, enter the domain name.

Change the Device name for a better overview when using more than one recorder / clients

Enter the username and password 

Click on preview to check if the connection is working.
