Safire Smart - Activation of Safire Smart Video Door Station (SF-VI131-IPW-MF / SF-VI134-IPW-FACIAL) via the IP Manager Tool

Before you can use the Safire Smart video door station, it must first be activated using the IP Manager Tool. This software is available via the product page of Safire Smart.

Step 1: Connecting the Door Station

• Connect the door station to a 12V DC power supply.
• Connect it to an Ethernet switch or directly to a PoE switch.

Step 2: Activation via IP Manager Tool

• Open the IP Manager Tool.
• Scan for available devices.
• Once the door station is visible:
  • Select the door station.
  • Go to the Activation tab.
  • Set a new password.
  • Click Activate.

Step 3: Setting the IP Address

Now that the door station is activated, it needs to be assigned an IP address. This can be done via DHCP or with a static IP address.

For this demonstration, we’ll use DHCP:

• Select the door station.
• Go to the Batch Set Net tab.
• Choose Obtain Automatically.
• Click Batch Set.
