🛠️Activate Cameras via PoE Switch

We recommend starting by connecting your Safire Smart IP cameras to a PoE switch.

💻Download the IP Manager Tool

To activate the cameras, download and install the IP Manager Tool.
You can find the latest version on the product page or directly via this link:

🔌 Connect Cameras

Plug the new cameras into the PoE switch.
The IP Manager Tool will automatically begin scanning for devices on the network.

🔐Activate the Cameras

• Select the cameras listed as inactive.
• Create a password.
• Click Activate.

⏳ Note: Activation may take a few moments.

🌐Assign IP Addresses

Once activated, the cameras will still have their default IP addresses.

You have two options:

• DHCP (recommended for simplicity)
• Manual IP assignment (requires checking for IP conflicts)

To use DHCP:

• Select the cameras.
• Choose “Obtain Automatically”.
• Click “Batch Set”.

Now that the cameras are active and have valid IP addresses from the network.
