3. Physical Installation
- Install HDDs in the NVR
- Connect cameras to the NVR’s PoE ports or PoE switch
- Check network cables and power supply
- Connect monitor and mouse
4. Initial Configuration
- Log in to the NVR (change default password)
- Set language, time zone, and network settings
- Auto-detect cameras
- Check and update firmware
- Remote access setup via Autonat or Safire Smart VMS
5. Image Settings and Recording
- Set resolution and frame rate per camera
- Configure recording schedule (schedule, motion, alarm)
- Snapshot and backup options
- Remote access via Safire Smart / MAX
