📹 Step 10: Set up smart features

For cameras with smart features, you can activate the following options:

• Motion detection
• Line crossing
• Area Intrusion
• Regional Entry
• Regional Leave
• For the PTZ camera: set patrols or preset positions

📹 Motion detection

Setup:

1. Go to the Camera menu and select Motion, then select the desired camera.
2. Motion detection is enabled by default. If this is not the case, enable it.
   • All detection area is entire image
   • Reverse drawn area
   • Clear drawn area

4. Set the alarm schedule: determine when the function should be active by going to Processing Mode.
5. Under the Trigger Actions tab, you can set what happens when detection occurs (e.g., push notification, recording of a channel).

📹 Line Crossing and Intrusion

These functions can be found under AI / Event on the recorder. Available options depend on the camera model.

Setting line crossing:

1. Select Perimeter Detection
2. Select the camera
3. Select AI Event Line Crossing
4. Enable Detection by NVR or IPC
5. Parameter Settings

• Area
• Schedule
• Direction
• Detection Target

6. Trigger Mode

• Trigger General
• Record
• Alarm-Out of NVR or added cameras
• Trigger Preset for PTZ or cameras with zoom
• Trigger IP Speaker

The same steps apply to all the other AI Events

🧭 PTZ camera: Cruises and Preset positions

1. Go to Live View and select the PTZ camera.
2. Open the PTZ menu on the right side.
3. Use navigation and zoom to determine the desired position.
4. Add a preset, give it a name, and save it.
5. Repeat this for other positions.

🧪 Stap 11: Testing and validation

1. Check live images on the NVR and via the app.
2. Test notifications and recordings when motion is detected.
3. Check whether audio is working (if applicable).
