Lesson 4a - Use a pin code to have access.

There are two-ways to have access using a code.

A. Using a code from a card

B. Creating a code for a user

A. Using a code from a card

1. Open the tab persons in Safire Control Center
2. Edit a user that needs to have access via a PIN code
3. Click add a card
4. Then enter a PIN code minimal 6 numbers  
5. Then Add and save the user details
6. Now there is one more option that needs to be activated via the Device Parameters
7. Via the tab Access Control / Advanced Functions / Device Parameters, select the device that needs to option to enter pin code using the card numbers 
8. Enable: Input Card Number on Keypad and click OK to save

Note: update the user's details to the device

B. Creating a code for a user

1. Open the tab Access Control in Safire Control Center
2. Go to Advanced Function / Authentication Code / 
3. Select the device that needs to have the Pin code setup
4. Select the user that need to use a Pin code to have access
5. Enter the pin code and Save
